Sterling silver gravy boat, with the matching under-plate, in the elegant Francis I pattern by Reed & Barton, Old mark C.1946. The length of the gravy boat is approximately 8"; the dimensions of the under-plate are 9 3/4" L x 5 3/4" W. The total weight is 26.29 Troy Oz. The condition is wonderful; two very small and llight dings plus light surface scaratches on the under plate from use.the pattern is clear with nice oxidation. There is a pretty 3-letter intertwined script monogram, in the cartouche, on one side of the gravy boat; there has never been a monogram on the under-plate. The condition is excellent. There has never been a monogram. The marks are - REED & BARTON - STERLING - X568- FRANCIS I. The date mark may vary from the one that is pictured.
